Flowers of May

Sunday, May 5, 2013

One of the colorful festivals that were celebrated here at the Philippines is Flores de Mayo (Flowers of May). It is a Catholic and Aglipayan festival held in the Philippines in the month of May. Lasting for a month, it is held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

When I was a kid, I was the escort (Rey Constantino) of a girl a on a pageant called Santacruzan that was held on our small town here at Cagayan Valley.

The Santacruzan refers to the pageant on the last day of Flores de Mayo, held in honor of Helena (known as Reyna Elena) and Constantine finding the True Cross in Jerusalem..

Well I was just a kid back then …

And for a long time that I was not able to do a fash’post on my blog, here’s a new style form muah!

My sister and I shoot this at our our simple ground/garden? in front of the house under the HOT summer sun. That’s why  as you browse the pics the colors were so warm; just adopting the rays of the summer sun and at the end, things got so glistening!

LOL!

It’s my 2nd time to wear this look. I’ve used this at the last day of our seminar last March.

But hey!

Just wanna share it on my blog though! especially on one of my alternative way of using short chained necklaces for guys.

Hihihi!

So check the LOOK!

* Top *

Blue Floral accent Button-down

I bought this button down from MOGAO.  The accent captured my sense of feminine taste, but it’s not that much obvious in front thought, since some of the accents were seen on the breast pocket and on the sleeves but at the back…

there you gO! SEE?
It got a prominent accents of flowers and checkered...

LoL!

* Bottom *

Slim fit Dark Green pants form MOGAO

A cute light blue button-down top really matched with nicely tailored pants like this green one here.

I had tried it on a blue jeans and  oh well, its “okay”.

But the top is more kicking on a nature colored pants such as green, red and brown or even with maroon and black pants.

But for me, no-no with blue faded colored jeans.
(You can write a comment for any reactions or suggestions at the comment box)

* Accessories *

Red accessories form SM ACCESSORIES

If your looking for  some great accessories for the summer, here’s some RED accessories for the no.1 fashion authority in the Philippines; SM ACCESSORIES. I love most of their accessories its so stylish and really suites for any season, check their accessory section on their Dept' stores at SM malls near you.

I chose to use this RED accessories just to give accents on my top since its a bit plain one.

I chose to wear the necklace as this for it not to be more prominent and to have a minimal attention on the look, just to give it a right touch on my top.

SUNNiES

I added up sunnies for this look since it’s still summer and the heat of the sun hurts my eyes… just to protect your eyes though and to add “preppy” “summery” touch on your look.

* Footwear *

Green – Maroon shoes

I just bought this glamorous and so OOOH! CUTE shoes form a stall form a bazaar…its not that much expensive though, it cost less than a 500 peso bill. Its not that much but the look of it is more than the actual price.

I really love this pair since its so comfortable of the feet and its a flats.

You can pair this kinda’ shoes with shots, as long as you’re top and  you'll add some accessories to match up with the color of the shoes.

Just give a right tough pairing your accessories with your shoes really blend things accordingly.

So what can you say for this look?

Feel Free to click share this look on your socials and give it a Hype on Lookbook….

THANKS!

Green for 2013

Thursday, January 17, 2013

2012 was a fruitful year for my passions in life; my career, my skills and talents…

2013; year of the water snake and I could feel the snake within me… LOL!

What I mean is that I can feel the change, evolvement or development and prosperity (in some way).

2013 Fashion, its more on the cool toned colors, the patterns and the 80’s + edge.

Let’s start the year with a GREEN mind, SPIRIT and a serene Green outlook in life...

So let’s be GREEN!

Summer is coming and let’s prepare. And I would like to welcome summer with this LooK!

* ToP *

Moss Green and Linen pink Tee’ from Mint

I bought this Tee’ on Sale. Though its sale; its cute and the cut is great and it just suited for my body.
LOL!
Though it’s a square collar tee’ i usually add a necklace either a long chained one or just a short necklace, just to accessorize my top and a spice on it.

     * BottoM *

Slim Cut Brown jeans from Bench/
Its my second time to use this Jeans on my posted Looks, I used it on MR.BROWN (my debut look)
I chose this jeans as my bottom to matched-up with my moss green colored top and of course to be paired up with the dominant colors of my accessories.
Nature colors were really great to be combined together, one simple principle in Fashion.

* AccessorieS *

Peacock Feathered short chained Necklace

Just a usual necklace with a feathery “Bling” with it, really a cute one though.
I bought it at a bazaar during our Christmas shopping. The peacock feather catches my eyes which had got my interest to buy this piece.

Thanks For Reading
Have a Prosperous New Year

Frozen

Saturday, January 5, 2013

Christmas had passed by like the chilling cold breeze which gave me this idea for this look. There’s no winter season in the Philippines though so we just wear sweater, cardigans, pull-over, jackets or something to keep us warm enough to go out when it’s cold.

So I just pull out clothes on my closet, some cardigan, pants and a leather boots.
I bought a blue tee’ for my top and of course an accessory.
Its really a casual look for this type of season here in the Philippines, you don’t really need that “much” of warmers.

Light, Thin, Simple or Casual and of course Comfortable

Those are my key points on this look.

* ToP*

Cyan colored V-necked see-through top

But the “see-through” is not that obvious because its thin and silky, not much see-through.

Still em conservative and sexy from within.

Wahahaha!

“CHOS”

I found this top in a bazaar near at my place, it catch my attention since its see-through and em also thinking of what will I use for my top and also considering the upcoming season. So I chose this Cyan color just to give a “FROST” cold color of Christmas.

* WarmeR *

Cardigans are so “IN” because of the cold breeze, my Aunt and I went to Tiendesitas to buy some decors for her house.

Tiendesitas has allot of stalls and bazaars, we’ve seen this cute cardigans displayed at a stall and we ran to it to buy some pieces for gifts, and she bought one for me, actually the design is her choice and I also Like it, or should I say Love it!

HiHiHi!

I chose Cardigan to be my warmers for this look since it’s cute, petite, and a cool one. Just enough to balance my look since my clothes were slim and fit.

But for me, I prefer cardigans rather than jackets or pull-over.

* BottoM *

 Dark Blue with Brass gold metallic Denim

It’s my old jeans bought from know-where.

HaHaHa!

Its cool denim because of its design, it has this crumpled design with brass gold accents on it.

I love to wear jeans with any top, jeans are so flexible with any color of top, since it’s Blue plus the accents and design it’s really a good one.

* AccessorY *

Leather chained Necklace from SM Accessories

When I’m looking for accessories for this look, i’m thinking of wearing a long chained necklace since my top is plain.

I pick this necklace because of its cute pendats, its cute becase one of its pendants has a message on it.

This is one of my tips on my previous look/post regarding choosing necklaces for your top.

Since my top is a plain one, you really need to add spice or design on it by adding necklaces such as this one.

Another way of adding design on  your top is using brooch pins or just pins like the one that I on my post entitled Tea Party

On buying accessories especially for men, one of my Trusted store for a flavorful, edgy and casual accessories …

the SM ACCESSORIES of SM Department stores.

If your looking for leathery, brass golden accessories, or metallic bling-blings, SM Accessories is the right spot for you.

They have variety of accessories suited for your taste and style.

Most of my Accessories were from this store and you can also visit some of my post for accessories like my Red Leather skulled bracelet on  my post Red Hot Christmas.

* FoorWear *
 Black Leather combat Boots

Its actually my second time to feature this boots it’s a customize boots given by my aunt from Perry Harry.
I love combat Boots because it made me tall.

Hahahaha!

This Boots really suited for this season, because its cold and this foot wear made my feet warm and comfortable for long walks at night.

That’s it. So Far…

Cold is still creeping the end of my December, and I guess this look would help you in gearing up for some cold day/night outs with your friends and family for the new year or even on January since the cold season last till February.

THANKS!
