Thirty Five is the number of my top for today. Its been a long day for a photo shoot, my friend and I went to our house for her portraiture shoot and of course been Ive experimenting and trying my new 50mm lens. 

Rain or shine we need to do the shoot. Luckily during the shoot the rain stopped and fortunately we ripped up thing before it begun to rain again. We ran into their house just to pass the time and to visit some friends. Its pretty boring in our house though that’s why sometimes I’m hanging out to my BFF’s crib just have some chit-chatting.

At their rooftop, I saw this simple wall and as it rains, water marks spread on it. Its so beautiful as if the wall has been painted with a darker contrast transparent paint which made a picture of elegance. 

Simple but elegant.

and so I called my friend to shoot me and made the wall as a background.

So here’s the output of my silliness under the rain…     
   

So that is the wall that I’m talking about, pretty cute huh?

the 35 shirt from United Colors of Benetton

a comfortable cottoned top suited for ordinary or casual days.

During casual days, I usually use shorts, just to feel comfortable. And as of this season "the BER months", unexpected rainfall here in Manila is so rampant. And you need to prepare your shoes and feet for flooded roads and pavements. 

For this day since its raining, I’m just wearing my plastic Swatch watch and flaps.

Since I’ll be posting this as an entry on LookBook, I just remember one of the Do’s and Don’ts; that you must post either from head to knee or knee to foot pictures or else your entry will be deleted. Just for compliance I did this frame above.

Hehehe!

I love to pair dark colored top with a dark colored short with some touch of designs like this checkered shorts, just to add some contrast and style on my look.

my Mint Project

Mint colored tops are so popular this summer in fashion. Luckily I have a mint green colored top on my closet, and I now… its my moment to have my Mint project Moment

* Top *

A mint Green top from Zara

a cute one but a bit big on me, so I tucked it in my shorts, tucked up the sleeves and puff up my collar. 

I puffed up the top to compensate with the width and circumference of it.

* Bottom *

This is a cute denim shorts form Hey Dude (SM APPAREL)

though it’s not “the in” knee high pencil cut shorts but it really fits with the look, together with the puffed up top, the length and the circumference of the shorts compensates the top.  But one thing separates the two, the red eye catching belt to balance and give emphasis on the waist.

It’s a ToMs espadrille its my 1^st pair of espadrille during the “ESPADRILLE” season. But until now, espadrilles were still at stalls and its not really an OFF the FASHION.

Well HeY! I’m a Fan of TOMS I have 3pairs of them actually.

Toms are so comfortable on feet. You can walk miles and miles without hurting your feet. You can even walk on wet pavements if you want. But be sure that it won’t fade soon.

Soon I’ll be posting the rest of my Espadrilles.

Okay let’s see my Accessories, one of my “FORTE” in Fashion!

I mixed it up with a Black Pearl NeckLace, colored bracelet and a blue watch.

When someone buys a black pearled necklace, a Myth about it pops out. So I’ll share some for you..

THE BLACK PEARL GODDESS

Well I love this neck lace its so cute and it really suites with any collar. But for me I do usually use it in a V-necked collar or a round collar.

check if you really need one on your outfit.

check the neck hole of your top. 

3rd

 check  the prints on your top,

 if the prints invades your necklace especially the long chained ones,

better to use a short chained necklace just like what i have on this look. 

Usually a plain colored top suites any long chained necklace especially for girls. 

But as of the moment, the "what’s in" necklaces look like these…

Preppy ( checkered, lines and dots )

Saturday afternoon when was at my grand moms place, I've decided to clean and organize my closet, just to have some free space for other stuffs .

While sorting things, I encountered a lot of old clothes. And its just pretty amazing to scan, try-on old clothes, recombining them to create new pairings and redesigning or customizing them to unleash creativity.
Just one of the crazy thoughts though.

2 clothes catch my attention when I’m fitting them in front of the mirror. A checkered green polo shirt, and a black polka-dotted pajama.

These are clothes from my childhood days, the checkered green polo shirt was given to me by my grand mom when I was at my primary school and the black polka dotted pajama was my mom’s pajamas. She lend it to me when I had my vacation for Christmas. As usual Christmas season is cold and I need some warmers.

After seeing those clothes an idea popped out and it teases my silly mind, A PREPPY LOOK entry!

I got up, have a piece of paper got a pencil and I sketched out the look and I also added some stuffs to reinvent the look. I tried some touch ups on the clothes and its just so amazing how did things blend in…

So here’s the look….

* Top *

A checkered green based polo shirt with some accent of reds and pinks. 

The colors are not dull in the eyes and the checkered design gives the edge on it.

Checkered designed tops had invaded the fashion clothing trend almost every season, but it’s a retro design which made it still "in" the fashion trend till this year.

I love checkered designed tops especially on polo shirt because it’s not plain, it’s a print but not that much emboss in the eyes. It’s one of the coolest pattern to wear.

I tucked up the sleeves as usual to make an edge on the cut of the top. And tucked it in at my pants to give a curve on my top since this top has no curve angle on the sides. And with this kind of top, it will make a straight body shape, which is not really a "BAM" one. 

* PANTS *

 This is just a P-jamies but I made some enhancements to make look like a pants. 

This polka dotted p-js' is a flexible one, aside from its color but also with its prints.

It’s a retro design, really suitable for my Preppy theme.

Prints on Prints, it’s not that tough to pair prints as long as you know how to match and to balance things. Well this pants paired with this top is nether ugly nor best.

I folded the feet hole of the pajama to give a leeway between the pants and the socks which also to give enhancement on my legs.

 Hihihi!

* ACCESSORIES *

Tie

This tie has a pink and black checkered design to match with the outfit and I chose pink to match with the accent color of my top.

Belt

I chose this red belt just to give a kick on my look not to make things dull since most of my colors were a bit near.

I twirl the edge just to have a different pattern on my look.

Eye wear

A black framed eyewear to give a match on the color of my watch and my bag.

Well There’s my preppy look, looks fine and some of my friends appreciated my angst on trying this look. Pretty good for me huh?

Fit and Tight

It’s been a busy month, got no time to shoot my looks. Well this November this is a “comeback” moment for me. 

Before this month ends I really need to post something on LB and of course to give you some tips on Fash'. This is not just a rush project though, been planning it before I go to sleep a week ago. But this description is a bit rush….

Hehehe!  

My sister and I shoot it just this weekend before going to my girlfriends. Just a casual look , as usual; I love to post casual looks to be generic in all occasions and seasons.

Hahaha!

Pretty stupid reason though, but hey! Everyone  appreciates it.

This post would be a debut for my blog since I’ll be sharing it first on LB. Two months of  organizing my posts and have new descriptions on this blog. I’d posted one of my previous looks, but its different when you post a new look with its descriptions on your blog.

Well enough with the TALKING!

HERE'z the LOOK!

Here’s one of my “prepared” looks for you, it’s a tight fit look, and with this; I guess I really lose weight. And slash some bellies! With some diet and exercise. I did gain weight 2months ago because of some cravings…

From a waist line of 34inches to 32 inches.

Hahaha! SUCCEZZ! 

I really need to cut out some bellies and have some BOPING PUFFS on my upper torso for the coming SUMMER.

* TOP *

It’s a tight Fit Tee from MOGAO.

This would be also my 1^st time to introduce this brand on my Blog and Post.

 It’s a really cheap tee’ I bought this for 185php, isn’t that cheap. 

And the designs are cute.

They don’t have an exact webbie’s but if you’re in the Philippines, I suppose you could check out their shop/stall on SM malls (SM North in particular) and they also have 3 branches at Divisoria. This brand originated at Korea. And if it’s a Koren brand, it’s a “FASH’in and STYListic” clothing line.

I always tucked up my sleeves as Fash statement, to make it cuter and a kicky look. And on this TEE’ I love the prints, it’s just like a lousy Tux, see? and it’s a Beige colored tee which suites with any skin tone.

With the colors on this Tee’ you can choose a color to match it with your accessories, I do suggest you to use a minimal accessories on this type of printed top. Maybe you could add up accessories on your arms such bracelets, watches or bangles. 

* SHORTS *

This is actually a pants from Marlboro originals, but I’ve cut it to make it a shorts, pretty cute huh?

Here’s a TIP on cutting jeans to make it a short, you don’t really need to sew after you cut, just tuck it up  but be sure to tuck it up till 4 folds. And the last process to make the tuck stable, iron it. But if you’re an OC, like me, while I tucked it up I iron each time you make fold. And if you wash it tuck it up again but you just need to iron the last fold.

So luscious RED SHOES, I bought this at Marikina when we went to visit the bazaars’.

This Red TOPSIES’ were so attractive and it really matches with my top and my bracelet.

the Debut

Its almost a month before I decide what outfit will I feature for my debut LOOK at LookBook. 

I have 2 choices of color and theme; a Brown or a Blue one. Nights and nights of thinking (OMG so much prepared) and I’ve finally decided that my first looks’ color and theme and I chose brown…. 

Shades of brown actually with some spice of red and yellow accent which might match with the outfit….

So lets have the Debut LOOK…

MR. BROWN

I chose this shade of color because it made me…

Korean loose turtle necked shirt

I’ve bought this Korean top at 168 Divisoria last year

(LOL!)

Just for 150php

Cool !!!

It’s a comfy top though and it’s also a stylish one, but the downfall of it is that when its hot and things will be sweaty, you’ll gain spots on the clothes what I mean is “sweat spots”. I do rarely use it… it’s actually my 2^nd time to use it… when I’ve got the “super guts” to use it…

so I wear it on a wide hanging neck line and tied the adjustment string to add a black detail on the top…

the shoulder part were tucked-in to give a separation on shoulder and the arm which give an emphasis on the triceps…                                                                     

Changge Tip!

My BFF Precious and I went a date to Divisoria a month before Christmas, and this Top captured my taste…

The Stole was owned by a Korean guy and  the original price was 300php. Since I’m a BARATERO, i beg for the lowest price.

 *TiP: when  when it comes to changge you need to be more clever and be "makulit" if you really wanna have your spotted garment in a less price.
So here's what I did, I asked the sales lady if she can give me a discount for the top. She gave it until 250php but i asked her at 200php, and she refuses. I talk to the Korean owner for a 150php price, i asked and begged for that price and fortunately I GOT IT!

 So I bought it half the price.

Strait leg slim fit jeans

it’s a BENCH/ jeans an OJ skinny brown jeans. I love to wear this jeans and I usually toped it with any shades of “EARTHY” colors…

Fash' TiP!

 When I pair clothes I always put in mind the EARTHY RULE a simple rule in matching clothes…

Brown leather boots

This boots were given to me by my Aunt when she visited Korea. She sent me a message on FB to asked me if what would I want as a souvenir. And I request a boots, a brown one.

But I did not expect the design and the look …

LOL!

It’s actually synthetic leather and its interior is a furry clothing to maintain the temperature of the feet.
The heals were a bit worn off though I use it most of the time…
Its  a leg high boots which is so cool coz it made me tall. The top of the boots compresses the legs and combining it with a straight skinny pants tucked inside the boots. It really made a tall effect on my appearance…

I bought it at SM Accessories a year ago… it’s a cool red belt coz it has different colors of lines… which gives me freedom in matching tops and jeans That’s why I love it especially when I pair it with different colors.

The Watch

It’s a black market watch, almost less than 6 months old. It’s a cute Red yellow watch, so matched with the RED belt, one of my fave’ watches…
