Tai-Dyed Oversize

This is my 2^nd blog post for this year and for the end of 2014 summer.

I know swagging is not that “in” for this summer since you need to wear a light material clothing to be comfortable under the summer heat, but with this look things will be more lighter.

I just want to share this look for those guys who want to swag under the summer heat or just wanna wear them for some casual reasons.

In spring fashion, oversize and athletic themed looks are one of the “in” when it comes to styles. 
And combining spring + summer heat is still an easy thing to do when your styling.

But as you’ll see on this post, i made this look a comfy’ athletic and yet cool for you to wear not only on summer days but also when your strolling or even hanging out with friends.

ToP

To achieve that swag look, Iv'e picked an over sized shirt. I found this ”Davao Beach” shirt; a souvenir shirt from Davao. 

If you wanna spend the end of your summer days one of the recommended hot spots in the Philippines for a vacation.   

And another thing with this top is that the colors and prints concedes with the season; Tai-dyed.

For this over sized top to fit on my small framed but fat body, i folded the arms and tucked the front part of it.

At the back, I kept it hanged down so that the prints will be prominent and also to have a change of length. Another thing is that so the the top won’t also be that puffy, since it’s an oversize shirt.

Bottom

I pick skinny black jeans to make my look be consistent with the top and so with my footwear.

I chose this kind of shoes (running shoes) to emphasize the athletic inspired look.

Incorporating an athletic inspired look during summer is kind-a cool thing coz' you’ll be more comfortable in walking or even strolling with friends in the city.

Accessories

Yes the highlight of my look. Though its a Tai-dyed swag, without the accessories styling won’t be that much be successful as it appears to be.

Really, accessories are the salt and pepper of styling.

Yes the cap! Its an authentic New Era cap. 

And yes its summer so you really need one, caps are designed similarly to our eyelashes, its flap is just like our eyelash it protects our face from the direct light coming from the sun.

Even if it is not summer, it’s essential and important to wear and to add a protection on your head and face against the heat of the sun; and boy as of these days, boys are not the only ones who wore caps, but also with girls like her.

Actually Korean girls started this trend specially on the stylish and "worded" caps.

Sunnies! Yes! Another essential accessory for summer to protect the eyes.

What i'm wearing right now is a Ray-Ban Wayfarer Aqua flash lens.

Here is a tip on how to chose an appropriate sunnies in reference with your face shape.

Last are my Bracelets From SM accessories

I chose this cyan colored bracelet to add some touch of “water colors” on my look and to pair it up with the flash-lens of my sunnies. 

The leather brown bracelet and the beaded bracelet are picked to add a dark “nature” color on the look.

2014 summer is so hot like hell, but here’s cooling colors for your look. Like what I’m wearing on this post; mint, blue and browns.

As fashion “guru’s” suggests that pastel colors are one of the “must wear” colors for this summer.

And as for me, these neutralizing colors will soothes the eyes against the summer heat.

Summer is not just for tank-tops,  light transparent tees, but as long as it is cotton-made and you are comfortable using it, its a “FASH”.

Oh well its been a year that i haven’t blog/share what i’m wearing due to some responsibilities in my work as a nurse.

But I’m back, Blogging is one of my passions and i can’t just leave blogging as easy as that.

So here’s one of my #OOTD during this summer days; a comfy, preppy cool colored themed look.

Top and Bottom

This blue top and with a brown Aztec details on the sleeves and at the shoulders is an adorably cool top; a classic bohe (bohemian) button-down.

“CUTE”

The bottom is a min green short. i have folded the bottom at the knee high level to give an illusion on my height. More skin to be seen on your legs, the more emphasis on your height.

Oh well em just 5’4’’ so i need to do this folding thing on my shorts, co'z i need to look tall especially on what i’m wearing.

These pieces were bought from MOGAO, one of my trusted stores for my apparels.

I love pastels, so just a tip on wearing pastel colored apparels; match it with some neon or dark colored accessories. Reason, just to give spice on your outfit.

But honestly i also love neon accessories, but i seldom use it especially on a bright sunny day...

oh i hate people wearing neon clothes on such days. So histrionic (not being judgmental though) coz when I look at them, OMG my eyes huts since the sun’s heat and rays repelled on what they are wearing.     

But reality check, i’m also such at some point but on cloudy days when the sun is not that high...

Night outs or club parties are the best occasions to wear neon like Katty Perry’s outfit on her MTV; last Friday night.

Shoes 

Camel oxford shoes from Pecperks_Closet an online store on instagram. Follow and shop, they are one of the legitimate stores in IG. 

Yah i know these shoes/flats are only for girls, but not all oxford shoes are for girls, some are also for guys or should i say unisex.

Uhhmmm... i guess what i bought are for girls, but OHH!? I like it!   

LOL!

Since it’s a camel colored shoe, i think it will also match the feet of the guys. Or just match it with the bag and accessories and with that i think it will fit in.

Levitating is not easy thing to do, maintaining a neutral (poker) face and making sure that your clothes will not be crumpled. Oh gosh its hard.

But when you see the outcome it’s great, it’s worth the effort. Really! Hahaha!

Accessories

Accessories and sunnies are from SM Accessories (the number one fashion authority)

Most of my accessories on my looks were from SM accessories, and YES! I’m loyal to their products since it’s really a “must haves” in fashion.

So what accessories em i wearing right now???

The sunnies, I love this metal gray tint flash sunnies and the frame is so cool; a wood like design frame.

I usually use this in a bright sunny day, since the silver tint gives a dark view of the environment when you use it., so no harsh bright light which contains a high amount of UV rays that will irritate the eyes and disturbs your vision.

This are some of the reasons why to wear sunnies, why to pick and use a dark tint sun glasses on summer days.

A tip on choosing a color of your sunnies, the color of the frame of your sunnies must at least match on the color of your bag or shoes or even your accessories.

Just a suggestion though.

Bracelets, oh yah! The colors and the style of these bracelets match with my Aztec details of my top.

I just remember posted a picture of these accessories on instagram, that blue color neutralizes the orange heat of the sun.

Actually it was based on my experience, that when i look on someone who is wearing a cool colored outfit (such as what e mi wearing right now), i can feel the coolness of the ocean, just like greens do.

And it will also affect your aura for the rest of the day.

You can also match these blue bracelets on the color of your top or bottom or even with the color of your shoes.

i purchased these accessories moths ago but its my first time to wear it in a blog post.

Mr. Boy blue is coming back... LOL!

I just remember, when i’m still a kid my fave color is BLUE (powder blue), but now its RED!

Bag

Yah its also a camel collared sling bag, just bought it in a surplus store out there.

It is a nice bag since it is made up of real skin of an animal.

But i don’t know what species of the animal had given its life for this bag, but I’m sure it fits on this look since it matches with the flats/shoes.

The animal’s life is worth-it co'z i love this bag. Thanks to that animal. :P 

Another tip that most of people don’t know, that the color of their bag must be at least near with the color of their shoes.

So the pair of your shoes is your bag. Take note of that in mind especially ladies. 

If you’re planning to give a pair of shoes to someone especially girls, take note of the color of her favorite bag. And there you can base the color the shoes that you’ll buy for her.

But most of the girls don’t know about this pairing so they just pick anything that that really annoys me. 

So i do share this tip on my girl friends.

Flowers of May

One of the colorful festivals that were celebrated here at the Philippines is Flores de Mayo (Flowers of May). It is a Catholic and Aglipayan festival held in the Philippines in the month of May. Lasting for a month, it is held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

When I was a kid, I was the escort (Rey Constantino) of a girl a on a pageant called Santacruzan that was held on our small town here at Cagayan Valley.

The Santacruzan refers to the pageant on the last day of Flores de Mayo, held in honor of Helena (known as Reyna Elena) and Constantine finding the True Cross in Jerusalem..

Well I was just a kid back then …

And for a long time that I was not able to do a fash’post on my blog, here’s a new style form muah!

My sister and I shoot this at our our simple ground/garden? in front of the house under the HOT summer sun. That’s why  as you browse the pics the colors were so warm; just adopting the rays of the summer sun and at the end, things got so glistening!

LOL!

It’s my 2^nd time to wear this look. I’ve used this at the last day of our seminar last March.

But hey! 

Just wanna share it on my blog though! especially on one of my alternative way of using short chained necklaces for guys.

Blue Floral accent Button-down

I bought this button down from MOGAO.  The accent captured my sense of feminine taste, but it’s not that much obvious in front thought, since some of the accents were seen on the breast pocket and on the sleeves but at the back…

there you gO! SEE?
It got a prominent accents of flowers and checkered...

Slim fit Dark Green pants form MOGAO

A cute light blue button-down top really matched with nicely tailored pants like this green one here.

I had tried it on a blue jeans and  oh well, its “okay”.

But the top is more kicking on a nature colored pants such as green, red and brown or even with maroon and black pants.

But for me, no-no with blue faded colored jeans.

Red accessories form SM ACCESSORIES

If your looking for  some great accessories for the summer, here’s some RED accessories for the no.1 fashion authority in the Philippines; SM ACCESSORIES. I love most of their accessories its so stylish and really suites for any season, check their accessory section on their Dept' stores at SM malls near you.

I chose to use this RED accessories just to give accents on my top since its a bit plain one.  

I chose to wear the necklace as this for it not to be more prominent and to have a minimal attention on the look, just to give it a right touch on my top.

SUNNiES

I added up sunnies for this look since it’s still summer and the heat of the sun hurts my eyes… just to protect your eyes though and to add “preppy” “summery” touch on your look.

* Footwear *

Green – Maroon shoes

I just bought this glamorous and so OOOH! CUTE shoes form a stall form a bazaar…its not that much expensive though, it cost less than a 500 peso bill. Its not that much but the look of it is more than the actual price.

I really love this pair since its so comfortable of the feet and its a flats.

You can pair this kinda’ shoes with shots, as long as you’re top and  you'll add some accessories to match up with the color of the shoes.

Just give a right tough pairing your accessories with your shoes really blend things accordingly.
