Monsieur Photographe

Saturday, December 29, 2012

Before I start to share this Look, I just wanna thank my Friend, ANGEL ALFONSO; one of my pals at Philippine General Hospital.

Without her, the LookBook and Fashion Blogging won’t take place.

She has this Accessory online shop named SERAPHIM, most of her items were custom made and colorful. Love Neon colors, here’s the right spot for you.

Seraphim is for girls though but i love their designs.

As I Aged my camera leveled up, from the manual Film camera, phone cameras, digital cameras  to a DSLR camera (Canon 1100D) its actually a present…

what a blessing and still counting…

this LOOK was taken at MOA shot by my friend Angel, Rochel and King.

anyway lets jump to my look

* ToP *

Green v-necked shirt form Hey Dude (SM apparel)

its suitable with any color of bottoms.

Since it’s a v-neck it will also emphasize the neck area.

* Warmer *

Blue sweater from SURPLUS

I bought this blue sweater almost 3 years ago.

Its my fave’ sweater because its comfy’ and you can pull or tuck up the sleeves or you can unzip it to puff out the collar area, or just make it as a sweater when you feel cold.

Because of it’s clothe and its cut, it’s a cute sweater, and its blue.

Hahaha!

I love to pair it with darker or lighter colored tops. Since it’s a blue colored sweater it’s flexible when it comes to pairing colors.

* Bottom *

Pull up Jeans by Folded and Hung

You can fold it to make it a pedal pants or a shorts. It’s a cute one but I rarely use it because I look small when I use it, because of the crotch area of the pants.

Hahaha!

And to emphasize things up with this pull up pants, I need to anchor it at the belly area.

Hahaha!

But it’s a nice pants for the GIFTED guys. Hahaha!

* FootWear *

Brown synthetic Leathered Boots

Its my 2nd time to use this boots. Well, I love it! And it compensates the pull-up pants that I’m wearing.

It’s nice walking on those boots, but walking around MOA with friends is a different thing.

Hahaha!

When I went home my feet hurts.

Hahaha!

* Accessories *

Leathered brown bullet necklace and a Brooch pin for Rebel Apparel

I match the Leather brown necklace to my brown boots to balance my colors.

The Brooch pin gave an accent on my plain top. Brooch pin is a cute one…

I’ll be buying another one soon, it’s just 150php pretty cheep and stylish!

* Lifestyle *

Canon Digital EOS

Well it’s my cam; I usually use my baby to shoot thing especially my outfits using a 18-55mm lens or my 50mm lens.

I do love and value my gadgets they are my BABies.

When its Canon it’s a...

BOOM!

Benro Tripod

It’s my Tripod I use this to help me on holding my cam in place especially when I’m creating my low light photographs and the most functional part of my tripod is when I’m creating my own portrait photographs.

Yes I’m shooting my own portrait photographs. I’ll share it later on to you.

If you’re interested to purchase a cheap tripod, BENRO tripods is best for you.

This tripod that I own is one of the “budget” tripods in line with the cheap but durable tripods in the market.

Thanks so much for Reading!

NewsBoy's Cap

Thursday, December 27, 2012

So here's a brief history about this kind of Cap....

The newsboy cap or newsy cap is a casual-wear cap similar in style to the flat cap. Sometimes also referred to as the: Baker Boy, Apple Cap, Eight Panel, Cabbie, Jay Gatsby (from The Great Gatsby), Fisherman's Cap, Pageboy, Applejack Hat and Lundberg Stetson.

It has the same overall shape and stiff peak in front as a flat cap, but the body of the cap is rounder, sfuller, and paneled with a button on top, and often with a button attaching the front to the brim (as the flat cap sometimes has).

History

The style, very similar to a beret, was popular in Europe and the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries among both boys and adult men. As the name suggests, it is now associated with newspaper boys. This gives rise to a misunderstanding. It is true that many newspaper boys and other working boys wore flat caps along with other styles. This style was not, however, worn only by boys. Flat caps were very common for American and European men and boys of all classes during the early 20th century and were almost universal during the 1910s-20s, particularly among the working 'lower' classes. A great many photographs of the period show these caps worn not only by newsboys, but by dockworkers, high steel workers, shipwrights, farmers, beggars, costermongers, criminals, artisans, and tradesmen of many types. This is also well attested in films of this period and just after. While they were worn by boys and men of all social classes, they were worn by the 'upper' classes primarily for leisure activities, and the style became associated with well-to-do country sportsmen, drivers and wealthy golfers.
Resurgence

Although traditionally a men's cap, it has recently seen a resurgence as it has become popular with affluent women and fashion houses in the 2000s. It has also become popular among the hipster subculture, although fedoras are more common. Baker boy hats are now seen in many high street retailers. For summer, many girls and women are choosing soft cotton options as the brim offers sun protection. In winter, wool blend baker boy hats are a popular option for those who want to wear a natural material. In 2011, floral cottons are the current trend following a renewed interest in home sewing

So here's a closer look of the cap....

This cap was given by my beloved Aunt, as one of her present last christmas.

When I saw this one, em bit curious on what outfit matches this cap.

By the way, I'm not a fan of caps. I do rarely use a cap when I go out. It damages my HairStyle.

Hahaha!

So this would be the first time that I'll be using this cap...

while taking shots using it, I've noticed its CUTE!

Hahaha!

* ToP *

Cotton Tee’ Aramani Exchange

 A Gift from my "BeeeeeeeP" hahaha! Its a bit long though but its a supper COMFORTABLE, LIGHT and Thin shirt.

Now I have the Guts on wearing this teee since I started to loose some "Fatties" and still working on the remaining ones.

* BottoM *

Acid washed super skinny jeans

Most people appreciated it but here is a closer look of the design...

here's a closer look, it has some garter on the ankles to give a really consistent tight and fit look.

Some of skinny pants won't have garters like this, and with those jeans, in the long run they loose grip and they will look like a flower... that blooms on your ankles.

Hahaha! Pretty petty? Hahaha!

Luckily I have a thin legs but hairy ones.

Hahaha! GROWZ?!!!

With this jeans any type or color of top suites it.

Supper LOVe IT! Planning to buy one again.

Hihihi!

* FootWear *

SNEAKERS from RED

A supper cute one, the design was like a patched up clothes. The colors were light and it did fit with the look.

* AccessorieS *

I chose light colors such as green, yellow, white, lavander, blue, brown and black.

No striking for my permanent accessories...

The colorful bracelets were bought at TOMATO. I add the green and pink bracelets to be paired up with the colors of my sunnies

The black leather bracelet was from SM Accessories.  I add this to mached up with the brown leather necklace.

The bullet necklace was from Rebel Gear, matched up with the light brown area of the cap.

And I added some circles; the black pearl necklace and bracelet.

Here's my striking colors; my sunnies.

These were given by my friend. Cute color though...

Light Green, Purple and Fushia...

If you noticed, I'm aways match up colors with my outfit. Just to balance and compensate things...

Hope you gain something on this look.

THANKS Guys!

Azure

Tuesday, December 18, 2012

After a long day of bonding with my Galz, this idea popped out on shooting my today’s look.

So this is muwah’  after a big long day… the  word Haggard is posted on my face starting it with big circles on my eyes  + oily face + bad hair…

So I just washed my face, pat some powder, fixed my hair and have my cam in front of me.

And…

BAM! Blooming! AGAIN!

I chose the title AZURE because the dominant color on my Look is Blue…

I added some touch of red and yellow and some brown.

So here’s my LooK...

* TOP *

A Tee’ from Oxygen

It’s cotton top which so comfortable, but the print strikes my interest.

Because of its colors; light blue, mint green and baby pink.

These colors are so relaxing in the eyes, its not that “dirty print” like other dark prints in a shirt.

One word for the shirt is

SIMPLE

* JEANS and BOOTS *

To make it more casual, I pared it up with this Jeans and my black boots.

* ACCESSORIES *

To add some spice on my look, I added some touch of red, yellow, brown, green and lavender.

The most dominant colors in the eyes where the reds and yellows; adding such striking colors made your look balance and tense.

This Look is very simple but this one needs consistency on the colors, the blue’s, lavenders, or greens are dull colors in this casual look, but to add spice or tense colors on your accessories or picking a prints on the shirt will add flavor with your foreground colors.

Thanks Again for reading this simple and short post

:)

Tea Party

Sunday, December 16, 2012

Hmmmm... Tea Party? What's about this look to be entitled tea party?

CONTROVERSIAL?

Well everbody's asking why I entitled it as tea party.

So here's the answer...

Last night I watched Alice in Wonderland (the Mad Hatter) and the Pirates of The Carebian (the dead man’s chest). And I was so impressed with Johnny Dep with his Hillarious acting on both movies.

And also when it comes to TEA and Tea cups, it just reminds me of Lady Gaga.

Have you ever watch Lady Gaga's interviews late 2010? if I'm not mistaken... She always brings her a tea during her interviews. She also revels that one of her collections are tea cups. Since I'm a LiL'monster, so that’s one of my inspirations.

Here’s two of her interviews 2 years ago

So those were the reasons why I conceptualized it and entitled it as a Tea Party.

Tea + Attitude= my tea party

So here's the Look....

* TOP *

Red Tee’ from Hey Dude (SM apparel)

The top is just simple a Red top with brass gold buttons at the shoulders. Just to add details on the shirt.

I tucked it in to be more casual and to suit with the concept.

* BOTTOM *

Gray pencil cut shorts

I picked it so that it will add a “factor” in my look.

I do rarely use this shorts because it’s a gray and plain one.

I'm bit hard up on pairing on gray bottoms, because you need to look for a top which is a bit darker than the color of the shorts.

Coz if you'll pair it up with a lighter color with this short, it will be dull. Its pretty anoying if you wear dull color clothes, there’s no BAM! on it.

TiP!

 if you do have same color of shorts with you, better to think what top suites your shorts or what accessories suited with it. To add a "wow BAM!" factor on your entire look.

* ACCESSORIES *

Here are my beloved accessories...

Gold framed Aviator glasses from Ray Ban

To give some spice on my look, I picked a gold framed glasses to match up with the brass gold bottons on my top.

Brooch pin from Rebel Gear

I added a brooch pin, since my top is plain instead of wearing a necklace. This is one of the options to mess up your top.

Black Leathered Bracelet from SM Accessories

I wore a black leathered bracelet to match up with my blue pouch.

Black Pearls

its my second time to use these black pearls, i love these black pearls and it really paired up with the glasses of my sunnies which also made the look great.

Socks

I just wear this socks because it has red on it, not knowing that my top and shorts were color coordinated with it. They were noticed by my friend at my FB.

Thanks to her.

Hahaha!

Belt

I chose a red belt to give transition color on my top and shorts.

Blue Marithé et François Girbaud Pouch

Really a cute one, got lots of partition, marely a makeup pouch though, but I usually use it as my walk on pouch.

Pretty cute right?

Well that's my LooK?

Hehehe!

Thank YoU so mUch for reading!

Tigress

Monday, December 10, 2012

So its 10-18-2012: 12nn,  been 24 hours out from the hospital which I experienced one of the most popular endemic vector disease in the Philippines for this season; Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever or simply DENGUE, and also with my sucking Allergy which destroys my skin on my arms, got some rashes and be scars later on.

Hoping I could manage the scars, just bit shy of my arms when I go out coz’ I’ve got red blots on it. Pretty grosz huh?

Thanks to Photoshop and Lightings it enlightens it and removes it.

Hehehehe! Cheeting!

Anyway, I visited my grand mom’s house to update them on what had happened this week, and have some shoot. As of the moment, I shoot with my usual walk on attire; shirts, shorts, slip-on footwear. (Espadrille/sneakers/flops) This is my usual get-up when I go out for a walk/hang out with friends on nearby areas…

Pick… wear…  GO!!!

OKAY…

Enough with the BLAZ-BLAZ!

* TOP *

Black Tee's with Tiger Print

Got this shirt form Singapore it’s actually a present from my uncle (mother side) when He visited Singapore, it’s one of my favorite top coz of its Tiger print

“WRAAWR!”

but the size is a big that’s why I tucked up the sleeve and tucked in the bottom on my shorts and made it puff as usual…

The tucking up effect on my sleeves were really helpful when your top is big (I mean the size).

it’s an advantage for me coz I’m short and I want that my arms looks long and of course to expose my...

triceps (BAM!)

and made my...

shoulders broader (wOOH!).

And also with my tucking-in style, I do agree that I have a bit of tummy and this tucking-in is one of my secrets in hiding the “puffing abs” LoL!

just give it a puffing effect and there you go…

just be sure the puff is small just enough to hide the tummy.

But don’t over-do it or you’ll look fat! Hehehe!

Still working on my tummy though!

* BOTTOM *

Denim Shorts by SM apparel

I usually use these shorts to pair with my espadrilles, though I used it on my past look mint green project  its pretty cool to pair it with a shirt and a pair of flat foot wears such as espadrille/sneakers/flops.

And it’s a jeans which made it confy’ and easily to paired with any tops.

* FOOTWEAR *

Toms a black-gray espadrille

Okay, this one is my 2nd pair of Toms a black-gray espadrille suited for any type of tops, shorts or skinny jeans. Its supper comfortable foot wear just slip it on your feet and you’re ready to go.

I can go on miles with this footwear.

Even if it’s not that popular anymore, but I’m on the COMFORTABLE side especially when I’m bit lazy on picking tops and shorts, you can blend it with any outfit.

Hahaha!

* ACCESSORY *

It’s a synthetic leathered bangle with a woven prints

I actually saw a woven rattan bangles but I choose this synthetic leather to decrease the chances of allergic reaction on my skin. But the rattan is much better it has spice but hey! That’s what I want Hahaha! Plain and Dull.

Hahaha!

This bangle matches with a lighter or darker top or a top with a nature theme prints, such as shirt…

J
